I am in residency at Latitude, Chicago for the month of June in order to begin poring over the surveillance archives of Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai for the first time and responding to the visual material and text via photography and digital textile printing. I am interested in situating this project within a history of visual culture and surveillance technologies, making my first foray into 3D imaging, and learning as much as I can about printing methods and mediums.
